Shortly after the Battle of Hoth General Sorin was given an oversight over new armored division. He was tasked to improve technical specifications of various Imperial armored vehicles and was provided with small R&D facility on Ardo Prime. Rebel Command became aware of this new site, deciding to cripple the base before it started to provide results for Empire. Rebels sent a team of operatives to Ando Prime, whose task was either to destroy or cripple the facility, with a secondary objective to gather as much information on the projects as possible. The operatives partially succeded - although the base was completely destroyed with a help of its own self-destruct mechanism, nothing regarding of what was being researched haven't been acquired - and General Sorin fled the base avoiding capture. |
